Tiropita Twists

I think I’ve cracked the code for the best easy-to-make Tiropita yet 😮‍💨 These irresistible Greek cheese pie twists use just three ingredients and come together in no time—flaky, golden, and totally addictive 🙈

 

Ingredients

  • 10 sheets of filo (I use the brand Au Ble Dor)

  • 200g feta, crumbled

  • 50-60g butter, melted

25 mins to prepare and bake | Makes 10 twists


Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius fan. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and set aside.

  2. Lay out a sheet of filo pastry and fold it in half. Spread out the crumbled feta roughly in the middle of the sheet, and roll it to form a cigar-like shape. Gently twist at both ends being careful not to tear the filo, and place on the pre-lined baking tray. Repeat this with the remaining sheets of filo.

  3. Liberally brush melted butter on top of the Tiropita twists and bake for 20 minutes until they’re golden brown.

  4. Enjoy them warm. You can also reheat them in the air fryer at 180 degrees Celsius for 3 minutes.
