Ravasaki - Easy Greek Cheese Pie
You all loved my three-ingredient tiropita with feta, so here’s another version—Ravasaki! This easy Greek cheese pie is crispy, cheesy, and absolutely delicious. It’s quickly become my favourite tiropita recipe of the series. Perfect for sharing and irresistibly good! 😮💨
Ingredients
3 sheets of filo pastry
Approx 1-2 tbsp olive oil (plus approx 50ml olive oil for shallow frying)
1/2 block of feta (cut length ways in the middle)
20-30g honey
1 tsp sesame seeds
1 tsp black sesame seeds
15 mins to prepare and cook | Serves 2
Method
Lay out the filo pastry sheets and brush about a tbsp of olive oil on top.
Place the block of feta cheese in the middle and fold the filo pastry sheets like you’re wrapping a parcel.
Heat up the additional olive oil in a frying pan over a medium to high heat. After a minute, add the tiropita and fry on both sides for 1-2 minutes until golden and crispy.
Place the crispy tiropita on a plate lined with kitchen roll to absorb the excess oil. Then remove and serve with honey and sesame seeds on top.
