Cannellini Bean Dip

I’m fully embracing my bean girl era with this super creamy, garlicky butter bean dip that will BLOW YOU AWAY 🤯 once you try it! It’s SUPER EASY and SIMPLE to make and it’s just the perfect lil appetiser 😮‍💨

Ingredients

  • 1 can of butter beans, drained 240g - I got mine from Aldi which cost 49p

  • 2 tbsp tahini

  • 1/2 lemon, squeezed

  • 1/2 tsp Smokey paprika
    Salt

  • 1 bulb of garlic

  • Tbsp olive oil

35 mins to prepare and cook


Method

  1. Place the bulb of garlic in a sheet of foil and drizzle some olive oil over and season with salt. Wrap up and place in the oven at 170 degrees Celsius fan for 20-25 minutes.

  2. Add the drained butter beans to a bowl, along with the tahini, lemon juice and seasonings.

  3. When the garlic has softened, carefully remove from the peel and mash with a knife until smooth.

  4. Add the garlic to the bean mixture and blitz using a handheld blender or food processor until smooth.

  5. To serve, top with some garlic infused oil and crispy flatbread. (optional)
