Teriyaki Spam

After over 120k of you saved my air-fried gochujang spam (thank you!!), I just had to bring you this equally mouthwatering teriyaki version 😮‍💨 It’s sticky, crispy, and dangerously delicious — you’re gonna want to make this on repeat.

 

Ingredients

  • 1 can of spam, 340g

  • 1 1/2 tbsp dark brown sugar

  • 2 1/2 tbsp dark soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar

  • 1 tsp corn flour

  • 2-3 tbsp water (depending on how sticky you want it)

  • A small knob of ginger, grated

20 mins to prepare and cook | Serves 3-4


Method

  1. Grate the spam and place in the airfryer for 9 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius, turning half way through.

  2. To make the sauce, add all of the ingredients in a frying pan and place over a medium heat. Continuously stirring, simmer the sauce until it’s thick (add a bit more water if necessary).

  3. Add the crispy spam to the sauce and coat well.

  4. Optionally serve on a bed of rice, sliced cucumber and sesame seeds on top.
