Mosaiko - Greek Style Chocolate Salami

Mosaiko is a delicious and easy-to-make Greek chocolate dessert. I like to call it a Greek-style chocolate salami! Made with layers of biscuits, melted chocolate, and a touch of brandy, this no-bake treat is both indulgent and satisfying.

It’s simple, decadent, and takes no more than 20 minutes to prepare!

Ingredients

  • 150g melted butter

  • 100g icing sugar

  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder

  • Roughly 1 tsp orange zest

  • 150g petit-beurre biscuits

  • 1 1/2 tbsp brandy

20 mins to prepare and make | Makes 8 thick slices

Method

  1. Start by whisking together the melted butter, icing sugar and cocoa powder until well combined.

  2. Add the orange zest and mix once again until combined and set aside.

  3. In a bowl, place the biscuits and very roughly break them (but not too much).

  4. Pour over the brandy and gently mix with your hands once again.

  5. Place the biscuits in the bowl with the chocolate mixture and gently mix everything together until all biscuits are evenly coated.

  6. On a sheet of parchment paper, place the mixture and roll to form a log. Pinch and twist both ends of the parchment paper to tighten the salami. Then cover in cling film.

  7. Refrigerate for 3 hours before slicing up and enjoying!
