Patates Lemonates

Welcome to my series where I’ll be showing you some of the best Greek recipes that are perfect for hosting, feasting and bringing everyone together this festive season

We’re kicking things off with the only kind of roast potatoes you should be having this season: Patates Lemonates.

Patates Lemonates

Ingredients

1.2kg Maris piper potatoes, peeled and chopped 

60ml extra virgin olive oil

3 medium lemons, squeezed

3 garlic cloves, grated 

3 tsp dried oregano 

Salt to taste (I used 1 1/2 tsp)

1 hour to prepare | Serves 5-6


Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius fan. Line a baking tray with parchment paper. 

  2. Lay out the chopped potatoes and add in all the ingredients listed above. Mix everything together and place in the oven for 50 minutes, turning half way through.
