Baklava canapés 

Introducing BAKLAVA CANAPÉS, aka the crispest, easiest, and most delicious way to serve baklava and you need to make them this festive season.

Ingredients

250g phyllo pastry, I recommend Au Ble Dor 

75g butter, cut into 12 cubes 

100-120g honey (a tbsp per phyllo roll)

Crushed walnuts on top 

Just over an hour to prepare | Yields 12 canapés 


Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 150 degrees Celsius fan. Slice up the roll of phyllo into 12 even pieces and place them into a mini muffin tray.

  2. Top each phyllo piece with a cube of butter and bake for 1 hour until golden and crispy. 

  3. As soon as the phyllo rolls are ready, drizzle honey on top of each one and sprinkle crushed walnuts.
