Gochujang chicken bowl

This air fried gochujang chicken is everything you want in a weeknight dinner—crispy, tender, and made in under 20 minutes with a sauce that’s the perfect balance of spicy, sweet, and savory. Serve it over fluffy rice with cucumber slices and fresh spring onions.

Ingredients

300g boneless chicken thighs

1 tbsp gochujang

1 tbsp sesame oil

1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp honey

1 garlic clove, grated

Approx 2g ginger, grated



Method

  1. Prepare the sauce by combining all the ingredients listed above in a mixing bowl.

  2. Place the chicken thighs in the mixing bowl and coat them in the sauce well.

  3. Once coated, place the chicken in the air fryer on grill mode at 190 degrees Celsius. This ensures perfectly crispy chicken, while still being juicy and tender on the inside. Airfry for 17-18 minutes, turning halfway through.

  4. Serve on a bed of rice, with sliced cucumber and finely chopped spring onions..
